1) The first half of this movie was in the school which is for children to donate their organs.
2) Kathy, Ruth, and Tommy
3) In their childhood, they are innocent, but teachers seem kind of chilly to children. After they have known who are they, they seem that they know only they have to follow to donate their organs, but they can’t stand it sometimes.
4) This movie goes on Kathy’s view.
5) Kathy, Ruth, and Tommy went to same school. There was a little bit strange school, because when students go out, they have to go through a machine. They could not run away outside. Kathy likes Tommy, and Tommy likes her, but Ruth and Tommy were dating. Kathy felt alone. After they became adults, Ruth and Tommy have donated sometimes. They became weaker and weaker. Finally, Ruth died for donate many times, and Tommy died too. And then, Kathy received an announce to donate.

Opinion
I think this story is cruel. In one scene, teacher tells students not to smoke, she tell that not to worry about children, but if they get disease, they cannot be a person for donation. Every person has fundamental human rights, and anyone cannot violate that.
Summary: Kathy, Tommy and Luth were friends from school, which raises orphans as donars. They got restricted where they could go and had strange school polices. However, they live together without questioning their life. Kathy had feeling to Tommy but saw Tommy and Luth were holding hands and kissing. When they were grown up and left school, they realized that what they live for. They were desparated. Kathy left Tommy and Luth. After few years later, Kathy became a caretaker and saw Luth again. Luth already donated few times and became weak. She told Kachy the place Tommy lived because she felt sorry for stealing Tommy from Kathy when they were kids. She were jealous of Kathy. She knew Kathy and Tommy purely loved each other. Kathy went his place to see him. He also already donated his organs. Finaly, Kathy and Tommy loved each other but Tommy died. So did Luth. Kachy also will have to donate soon.
ReplyDeleteOpinion : This topic is important for us. The school doesn't exist in reality. However, in near future, it might happen and donars be raised in secret. I read another story about donars. The rich copies exactly same person as them for donar. If our technolgy makes possible to copy people in the future, we have to consider that those copies also have feelings like us. This movie might make us realize that.

ReplyDeleteThis movie is a story about organ donation. the main characters of this story are Cathy ,Tommy and Loos. Actually they have been born to the organ donation. If they play a role as organ donor, they are complete which means they die. First mood in this movie is not so dark. Because they don't realize secret about organ donation. As the story progress, they realized that they are not original and their deaths are close. And the mood of this story is getting sad. The point of view in this movie is that their life is not so long and they realize that. So they live hard and they are afraid to die. It is very important things . The conflict happens in this movie sometimes. The most distinguishing conflict is Cathy and Loos. Loos feel jealous for Cathy. Because Cathy and Tommy relationship is very good . Loose rob Tommy from Cathy and become lover. Loos is really human person. Finally, Cathy and Tommy meet again and become lover. But Tommy`s third operation which means death come closer. There are no way to escape last organ donation. Tommy and Loos are die and Cathy`s first donation dicided. The symbols of this movie is life. I think that theme in this movie is that how do you live your life?

After watching this move, I was forced to think about life deeply. Cathy and Tommy and Loos want to live more longer. But They can`t . Because They are not original person. This movie is fiction. But we have to live more hard. Because there are many people who want to live more long like Cathy`s in the world. This movie give to me the opportunity that I think about life deeply.

This movie's mood is monotonous, quiet and mysterious. Also, this plot is symple and we can read their situations that they conflict with their destiny and they accept their destiny. And, they go their destiny. This movie's ironis thing is people deal with them(Kathy, Tomy and Ruth) carelessly but their purpose is acting of kindness. This movie's theme is organ donation and clone people but there is more important theme "living".
Opinion
I felt sad and their real emotions from this movie.I have question about it that they didn't oppose their situation. Because they had many chances to run away their destiny but they didn't.My opinion about it , it is their strength to their life. To accept their destiny, they could live their life seriously.It is difficult theme and I can read many emotions.

ReplyDeleteNever Let Me Go is the SF movie about clone. At Hailsham which is a domitory in 1978, there are Kathy, Tommy and Luth. They are clone and just created for organ donation. They spend childhood at Hailsham until the age they can donate and they move to a cottage. Kathy likes Tommy and they are getting along with, but Tommy and Luth becomes a couple. After several years, Luth told that she got him because of jealousy. Luth and Tommy have already donated organs and came to an end. Kathy is called to donate.This movie shows what morality is. We will die someday. What difference between clone and people. It is right to grow clone just to help people's life? Dont't the have human right. I think the theme is what is moral what is life.

I dont know what is right thing, and I think there is no answer about clone. The life is equal, isnt it? The mind that want to live is same. Do we have right to take their life? Using science is not always right. In this time science is developing, we have to consider what is moral.
Kathy(this is a her side story), Tommy, and Ruth were at a boarding school in England, called Hailsham, when they were children. they were always close. It was not a normal boarding scool. This school was isolated from outside of school. In deed, the boarding school was the terrible school to grow up students as donors to provide their organs for patients. When they were adults, they moved to a cottage. Tommy and Ruth were in love, so Kathy was isolated. Kathy left the cottage and bacame a carewoker for donors. A few years later, Kathy saw Ruth agai. Ruth informed her where Tommy was, and she saw Tommy again. However, there was a patient who need his organ. Tommy had already provided his organ two times, so if he had provided his organ once again, he could not have lived probably. He despaired and shouted madly. the third providing Tommy was gone.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very sad story. Is such a school existing in actually. I hope this answer is "No". I think that what human controls human's life should not do absolutely. Moreover, they are dominated when they were children. All human have all human's rights, everyone is equal. So this story teach me the importance of human rights and equality.

There are five main characters, Cassy, Tommy, Loose, Emily, Lucy. The mood is dark and sad. They are people who cannot live until their middle-age because of some reason. They kept in a facility which is the place of raising “donors”. In the end, Tommy is going to die because of disease, movie is going back to the start which is the scene of boy is taking an operation.
Opinion
I felt it is a sad and cruel movie. It came to me to think about donation. I thought it is cruel because Even they have someone in love with and they want to live more for that, they cannot.
The main characters of this story are kathy, the protagonist and narrator, Tommy and Ruth. They were raised to be donors, and are clones. Firstly, in the boarding school, they were separated from the society and after many years passed, they moved to a cottage. And there, Tommy and Ruth loved each other. Kathy felt isolated. After 10 years, Kathy met Ruth who have already donated two times. Ruth told Kathy where Tommy is and they met again, but Tommy also have donated two times. They became lovers but the extension of his donation was not permitted. In the end, Tommy died at third donation and Kathy's donation was decided. The mood is calm, sad and realistic. I think the theme of the story is love. Kathy and Tommy have loved each other but they know that they were born to die. It's really sad.

However, this facility has been isolated from the outside world completely, and there are a number of mysteries. They didn't have home to go back. When they come out to the outside world, they had to pass through a band worn on the wrist to the machine. They were raised for organ donation "copy" and they had to provide organs in the future. Become a 18-year-old, they start to community life in the cottage of the farm. 10 years later, Kathy is reunited with Ruth. Ruth is already finished the organ donation of two degrees. Kathy meet with Tommy, He was also finished the organ donation of two times. They go to talk to the principal, but their wish did not come true. Tommy died in his third of organ donation. Finally, also to Kathy came news to start the organ donation.
Opinion
I think the story is very sad. Even though they are a clone, I felt the cruel teach them to study and love. This story taught me the importance and preciousness of my life.

When they were students, Cathy was intelligent. Ruth had a readership. Tomy was a bullied child. When they became adult, Cathy and Ruth met again in a hospital. Ruth was weak because she gave her organs to someone. After that, Cathy met Tomy. They fall in love. However, Tomy had to gave his organs to someone, meant his death. He couldn't his destiny. Finally, Ruth and Tomy were dead, so Cathy is alone.
Opinion
In this movie, Cathy, Ruth and Tomy are clone. Actually, there are no clone people in this world. We don't care about the donor's feeling if we are inrelated. However we should think about their feeling,and how scary if we make clone people. After watching this movie, I don't want to waste of time and my life. We should think about how important our life.

The last scene return to first scene.

Cathy is a kind girl and she care about everything. I think she was gentle girl. Tommy was bullied by boys. He was quiet boy. Roth was cheerful girl. They had lived at the dormitory until they ware eighteen or nineteen years old and then they moved another place .They grew for donation and they know about that. Cathy, Tommy, Ruth, a man and woman lived together. Tommy and Ruth were lovers, so Cathy has mixed feeling. Cathy loved Tommy. Gradually, they leave the house. Some years later Cathy met Tommy and Ruth. They done donation twice. They looks weak and bad condition. Ruth done third donation, then she died. Tommy and Cathy visited their teacher and tell them they want more time. But they cannot. They know truth about the dormitory. Some days later, tommy had third donation and he died. Cathy was offered donation. They help people who have disease, but they were not helped by anybody. This story’s theme is human right.

Donation is medical things, but it must have human rights. This is the sad story and they have bad fortune. They know their cruel future, but they cannot change. Because of donation, many criminals are occurred, I think.

Kathy worked as a caregiver at a hospital. They were not so mush rich as poor.Tommy and Ruth had weaken as time spent on because of it. Ruth died because she donated her organs a few times, and then Kathy and Tommy loved each other. But finally, Tommy also might die in the same way as Ruth. I think that the mood of this story is weird, unhappy and dark from beginning to end. And the themes are human life, cloning and poverty.

I think that this movie try to convey messages that clone humans can't leave lifes like genuin human, and there is the circumstances in real world that the poor donate their organs to survive. We mustn't overlook these problems and ought to think about them more seriously. I could deepen my insght into them by watching this movie.

Tommy has already weakened, but Tommy and Cathy fell in love.
They believed a rumor that a postponement of the organ donation if they said that we are lovers. However, it was wrong.
Tommy died by the third organ donation.
News of the organ donation reached Cathy and she remained standing.

It is not good to make a clone against providencw of nature.
