It is interesting that there are much main characters of female in older movie like "The Wizard of Oz" than newer movie like "Star Wars".

I think movies that we have wathed in childhood have huge influence on us.
I really like watching movie.When I was a child, I watched many disney movie and ziburi movie. I did not think the message of movies and annot catch it at that time because I was little. When I watch again these movie I can get the message and that cheer me. These movie teach us something important.
ReplyDeleteI have not realized that all pixer movie was the journy of men.I was so surprised. The problem of gender include the movie. I was shocked.
The TED talk that we watched today was interesting. Many countires try to eliminate sexisism and the new social norm starts work but today I knew that some men still have sexisism mind so it occurs problems like sexualy assailant to woman. I thought that I want many men who are not even conscious of sexisism to watch this video and change their bad thinking.
ReplyDeleteI think that the content of this talk is true. Actually I watched movies that focused on defeating the villain and getting reward when I was a child. Main caracters were always boys. Entertainment such as movies, videos, comic books and TV programs have big impacts on thinking of children, so these recreations should be exsistances that grow up children's thinking certainly. I hope that there are more female protagonists in movies in near future, and I want girls to aspire to become such heroines
