  1. This topic is kind of difficult but also helpful to know that peole's personalities are affected by their own cultures. It's good to know two contexts because we could understand their personalities or the things we shouldn't do them.

At first, I thought Japanese are high-context because we pay attention for one standard time, and we upset lateness.
However, I learned we are low-context, I feel it is interesting.

    Vocablary was difficult for me.

For example I didn`t know that Japan is high context cultures and some of countries have completely different culture with Japan which is low context cultures. I think it is very important that to know and understand different cultures each other.

  6. I understand the diffrence of the two types of the cluture, High and Low context cluture such as in Japan and U.S. Although both cltures is not same, we can hit it off with each other. That's interesting. Uhhh..but it's a little bit difficult to listen and understand several long passages, so I'll try to do my best next time!

  8. It's difficult to study the difference between high-context cultures and low-context cultures. Also,it's interesting to know the difference. I think high-context culture makes misunderstandings. We can understand easily when we use low-context culture.

  11. Japanese culture has ingrained high-context culture. People in japanese tend to less commit crimes compared to overseas because of social restriction. Also if I make a mistake, the head of organization take responsibility instead of me. We are very sorry for him, and think we shold never make mistakes again. So I think Japanese culture has high-context culture. It's intersting for me to learn diffrences between two context cultures.

I think that felling: high-context culture is important for people to communicate especially first contact. However, to be full contents of communications, we should use low-context culture. It is difficult tings.
